We are seeking to establish a pool of K-6 Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 4, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Yanchep Rise Primary School (PS) is the new school in Yanchep. Foundation Principal Ms Helen Demiris is working with the community to lead the creation of the school and develop a strong vision and ethos. A priority will be to develop strong, partnerships with our local community and the broader community to promote and sustain effective networks. The school staff will aim to nurture the educational, social and emotional well-being of all its students ensuring they are equipped to achieve the high standards that will be expected in all areas of school life. The Role
We are seeking teachers who pursue excellence in teaching, have high expectations, and who truly believe that all children can learn and be successful. You will ideally also be committed to putting students first in your decision-making and undertake the hard work that is inherent in adhering to a whole school approach. You will deliver motivating and quality educational programs, and believe that exemplary, evidence-based teaching practices lead to successful students and high standards of achievement.
They should consistently use evidence-based teaching and learning practices that prioritise the reflective use of data and embedded differentiation to support all students. Teachers at Yanchep Rise PS should adopt high impact teaching strategies and use ongoing formative assessment to provide feedback to students at the point of error, measure student progress, differentiate teaching and plan next steps in learning.
A displayed knowledge and understanding of our school vision and Business Plan is desirable. We have developed whole school approaches to student engagement through Positive Behaviour Support and an embedded application of our school values of Respect, Integrity, Safety, Excellence and Resilience. It is expected that staff joining our team will become RISERs. Applicants who have experience in effective use of Classroom Management Strategies and Trauma Informed Practices would be desirable.
