The Role
We are seeking to appoint two experienced Deputy Principals who will work in collaboration with the school’s Executive and Leadership Teams in leading improved educational, behavioural, and wellbeing outcomes for our students. You will contribute to the leadership of a school culture that promotes learning and have a deep belief that every student is capable of success.
The successful applicants will ideally have proven resilience in working with community to ensure positive progress and outcomes for all students. They should have a capacity to develop others and the ability to work collaboratively to ensure quality procedures for school improvement are in place. The successful applicants will ideally analyse and review all forms of data and interrogate lines of inquiry to inform an evidence based approach to case management, quality teaching and targeted intervention.
A key aspect of the Deputy Principal role is to create structures that allow for, and promote positive relationships between students, staff, parents/caregivers and the wider community. You should have high professional knowledge on the effective case management of students that caters to the needs of the whole child. You will ideally have strong experience in leading the improvement of learning outcomes and be able to work through complex situations both individually and in a team environment.
In addition, one of these Deputy positions will oversee disability and inclusion practices across the school, ensuring the success and well-being of students with disabilities both diagnosed and imputed.
