Technology Performance and Governance
Team
Bring your skills, experience and talent to
our Technology Performance and Governance Team,
within the ICT Business Unit.
The Technology Performance and
Governance Team lead the development, coordination and
governance of ICT-specific plans, strategies and reforms that guide
service delivery to the WA health system and ensure a return on
investment consistent with the health service industry on a
national basis.
This function reflects the importance of
strengthening, enhancing and transforming the overall capability
and capacity of the ICT Business Unit in partnership with Health
system providers. As a member of our team, you’ll help us
achieve our purpose of supporting our WA health system customers to
provide excellent health care by supporting the CIO and ICT
leadership team to navigate the current and future reforms expected
within the health sector. These reforms will increase investment in
technology-enabled health care and administration.

Your new role
We are seeking an enthusiastic
and suitably experienced person for the role of Principal
Consultant (ICT).
The Principal Consultant has
an enterprise-wide focus and will be responsible for adopting a
whole ICT perspective and working alongside operational directors
to ensure alignment and collaboration in service planning and
delivery to meet current and future business demands. This position
plays a critical role in leading and guiding ICT's transformation
and strengthening the capability and capacity of the business to
enable the effective delivery of agreed
services.
This is a Fixed Term appointment for up to 6
months with the possibility of extension and/or
permanency.
As a Principal Consultant
you will be responsible for:
- Providing professional
and strategic management support to the Director Technology,
Performance and Governance and Chief Information Officer
(CIO)
- Preparing briefing notes
and executive meeting papers, reporting and presentations and
providing policy and strategic management advice to the
CIO.
- Maintains oversight of
ICT commitments, agreed actions and ensures timely review and
follow up of actions and resolutions.
