We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Riverton Primary School (PS) is a level 5 independent public primary school located in Riverton, a riverside suburb in the southeast of Perth, located near the Canning River. With an enrolment of over 600 students, Riverton PS has been growing steadily for the past few years. We are a local area school with a deservedly strong academic reputation in the district.
The demographic structure of our families and students is very diverse with a strong international flavour. Over 68% of our students were either born overseas or have parents who were born overseas. Many of our families have recently arrived in the country and the suburb. Our student population is extremely varied in background, with over 40 nationalities and languages, meaning we have a large English as Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D) component, employing staff members to work with class teachers and the students, both inside and outside the classrooms in a variety of models. We actively celebrate and embrace the diversity of cultures in a variety of ways.
We work closely and inclusively with the Riverton Education Support Centre (ESC), sharing the campus and interchanging staff across the two official schools. All our students complete activities and share the facilities together, providing greater variety in their abilities, intellect and outlook but inclusive of each other.
Find out more about our school by visiting Riverton Primary Campus or Schools Online.
