This is a twelve (12) month fixed term, full-time position commencing ASAP with possible extension (up to 6 months) and/or permanency
The Workforce Policy and Coordination branch provides strategic leadership and planning to support the development of the Department’s current and future workforce. The directorate designs and implements strategies that promote an equitable and diverse workforce, reflective of the Western Australian community, and prioritises the health and wellbeing of all staff.
The Role
In this role, you will provide expert advice on legislative and policy developments that impact the Department’s workforce through the lens of equity and diversity. You will play an important part in shaping and supporting policies, processes, and systems to ensure our workforce is inclusive, representative, and reflective of the Western Australian community.
You will contribute to the implementation and reporting of initiatives aligned with the Department’s Equity and Diversity Management Plan, working collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include researching and evaluating programs, analysing performance measures, and facilitating workshops that promote equity and diversity outcomes.
