The Role
The Business Support Officer position requires sound interpersonal skills, flexibility and professionalism. The successful applicant should assist the Manager Corporate Services with a range of finance and business operations and work collaboratively with the Executive and Corporate Services Teams and all other staff. The successful applicant should provide operational and strategic support, ensuring resources use and business processes, enabling enhanced student learning.
The successful applicant should have relevant experience in schools’ financial management, facility management and human resources practices, to achieve the outcomes required of the role. Key to this role is the ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ideally while effectively prioritising and meeting deadlines within a high-pressure school environment.
This position ideally requires a flexible team player, ideally with sound communication skills and a thorough understanding and operational knowledge of the relevant systems and policies required to maintain, monitor, analyse and extract information using RM Finance, RM Billing, RM Asset Manager, Compass, Flexi purchase and Recruitment Advertising Management System (RAMS). Relevant experience in End of Month, End of Calendar Year and Financial Year rollovers is required, as is a thorough understanding of Procurement in the Government and Schools systems.
