
We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
Suitable applicants will be the first point of contact for our school and may be responsible for completing administrative duties including greeting visitors, answering the telephone, responding to routine enquiries and requests for information, and undertaking other reception duties as required. As the first point of contact, professional presentation at all times is highly important. Suitable applicants may be required to meet deadlines and work well within a team environment. They will ideally have excellent oral and written communication skills to perform student related activities such as general data entry, enrolments, publication generation, receipting of contributions/charges and possess a strong understanding of excel and word processing. They will ideally have a strong customer service focus and have the ability to provide effective clerical and administrative support. Suitable applicants will also assist with the maintenance of school facilities, assets and resources, maintain and order office supplies, distribute and collect documents, forms and mail and collect and receipt monies in accordance with Departmental procedures.
Roles may include tasks such as undertaking account and GST coding, reconciling financial records and processing invoices. The suitable applicants might also assist with end of month procedures such as banking and maintaining data integrity. They may be responsible for collating figures for financial planning and budgeting, which will help the school make informed decisions about its resources.
Suitable applicants will ideally be flexible and willing to move between duties to meet the needs of the school. They should have the desire, capacity and confidence to be upskilled in, and to support, a broad range of corporate services functions. We are seeking applications from individuals who can bring their flexibility, passion for service delivery, organisational skills and attention to detail to our team.
