The Role
At the School of Isolated and Distance Education (SIDE), we offer the full range of lower secondary and senior secondary Mathematics courses. Explicit instruction is the basis of our pedagogical model. We are looking for teachers with strong knowledge of, and proven success in, teaching and differentiating the Mathematics curriculum at all year levels. The analysis and use of diagnostic and student performance data to inform teaching and learning programs is critical to success in this role.

As a teacher at SIDE, you will create engaging and culturally responsive materials to cater for student diversity, including students with English as an additional language/dialect, and students at educational risk.
Suitable applicants should have excellent interpersonal skills and be committed to working as part of a dynamic and collaborative team. Having a positive attitude with the ability to anticipate and adapt to change, and showing initiative, flexibility and creative problem solving to produce the best opportunities for students will be highly regarded.
