
Eaton Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Deputy Principals for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
The Deputy Principal role is dynamic and diverse! While specific elements of the Deputy Principal's portfolio are negotiated with the school leadership team, responsibilities ideally include:
- Leading curriculum implementation, supporting staff development, and prioritising student well-being.
- Mentoring others to strengthen their leadership capacity will be vital to the ongoing success and growth of the school. Encouraging professional growth and reflective practice, empowering and supporting teachers, providing differentiated care as they embark on their improvement journeys!
- Collaborating closely with phase of learning team leaders to build leadership capacity and foster a culture of teacher-led change and play a key role in the development and management of school systems and processes, ensuring that structures are in place to support teaching, learning, and student engagement.
- Leading Student Services, ensuring that every student is given the necessary tools and resources to succeed academically and personally.
- Delivery of Eaton’s business plan, with data-informed decision-making, monitoring of student progress, and implementation of evidence-based interventions to maximise learning outcomes.
