We are seeking to establish a pool of Canteen Attendants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Australind Senior High School (SHS) is located north of Bunbury with easy access to the wider Southwest region. Australind SHS is one of the most successful schools in the Southwest region, with a strong history of outstanding success for our students in both ATAR and Vocational Education and Training (VET) pathways.
The school has a student population of 1200, which creates many opportunities for students and teachers. We are committed to continuous improvement in teaching and learning through reflective practice with a focus on Quality Teaching and Learning, as detailed in our business plan.
At Australind SHS, as a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) school, the care we offer each and every student defines our purpose. We have a strong and supportive student wellbeing structure which has been established to ensure all our students are well cared for socially, emotionally, physically and academically.
The Australind community is widespread and diverse with 600 of the 1200 students attending school by bus each day from Harvey, Brunswick Junction, Binningup and a range of other localities within the Harvey Shire. We have a dedicated school Board which supports our traditions, such as wearing full school uniform, and the school ethos 'Through Endeavour, Success'.
