The Role
Are you a dynamic teacher who has the capacity to work with a team in an engagement space?
Fitzroy Valley DHS has established an engagement team in 2025 who are supporting disengaged students to return to the classroom. Students work within a highly supportive structure at the school and slowly transition back to mainstream classrooms over a time frame that is supportive of the student. Strong social and emotional wraparounds support this approach for each student within the program. The program is directed by a highly qualified and experienced Program Coordinator.
It is highly desirable that the successful applicant is committed to developing positive relationships with students, parents, staff and the wider community. They should ideally possess a strong capacity to plan challenging and engaging programs using an excellent understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum.
