The Role
Atwell College is seeking an applicant who is ideally a vibrant, innovative and experienced Student Service Program Coordinator (SS PC) with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of policy and procedures related to student services provision.
The successful applicant should have strong instructional leadership skills and the ability to provide strategic direction for staff in promoting a positive culture of improvement and student wellbeing. The ability to enhance student learning outcomes through the support, guidance and professional development of all staff is vital to the SS PC role. The successful applicant should carry out their role in a manner that is inclusive and collaborative, using strong interpersonal skills and leadership attributes to ensure positive outcomes for all students. Highly developed leadership skills, detailed understanding of Department policies, effective case management and the ability to form partnerships with a range of multi-agency stakeholders will be highly regarded. You will also collaborate with the other SS PC to lead, promote and build upon the college’s Student Service systems which form an important component of the positive support emphasis and SS structure. The successful applicant will work closely with the Deputy Principals and broader leadership team to uphold the school’s commitment to student wellbeing and success.
Key responsibilities include leading and managing pastoral care initiatives, implementing intervention and support processes, and coordinating student services programs. The role also involves supporting behaviour management strategies, course counselling, transition programs, assemblies, and parent engagement initiatives.
