Your new role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably
experienced person for the role of Manager
Partners.
This is a
Permanent Full Time appointment.
The Manager,
Partners is responsible for leading a team of 20 professionals who
manage relationships with major ICT infrastructure vendor partners
and assure their performance as well as managing the contracts
between those vendor partners and Health Support Services. This
role has responsibility for developing and maintaining trust-based
relationships with vendor partners and promoting a shared culture
of honesty, transparency, professionalism and commitment to
excellent health care across Western Australia. A values-based and
pragmatic leadership style is necessary to promote the most
productive relationships with vendor partners and to set an example
for team members who deal with these partners on a daily
basis.
Ensuring
effective and efficient, day to day contract management is an
important responsibility of this role. Process workflows need to be
adhered to as well as maintained and improved over time. The
Partners team enables the flow of significant financial investment
between HSS and vendor partners and consistency, predictability and
transparency are critical to them and to HSS as the accountable
authority. The team works to a set of contract management standards
set by HSS and State legislation and adherence to these at all
times is an element of the existing team culture. Continued
improvement to deliver financial savings and leverage greater value
from partner vendor contracts for HSS is a key focus for the
team.
As a member
of the Infrastructure business unit's senior leadership team, the
Manager, Partners represents the interests of the team and partner
vendors and contributes to achieving the operational and strategic
goals of the business unit. Infrastructure is a high performing
team recognised for its strong customer focus, ability to respond
quickly to changing circumstances and above-organisational culture
and engagement scores. All leaders in the team, including the
Manager, Partners, play a role in maintaining and strengthening
these key business attributes.
