Kalamunda Primary Education Support Centre (KPESC) is looking to establish a pool of dedicated School Officers for potential permanent and fixed-term, full-time and part-time vacancies arising during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2026. Appointments may be made at any time within this period as opportunities become available.

The Role
We are seeking welcoming and highly organised School Officers to join our team, providing essential administrative support while building strong relationships with our families. The suitable applicants should be warm, approachable, and committed to maintaining a positive and efficient office environment.
We are ideally looking for detail-oriented and efficient administrative professionals to provide high-quality admin support. This role involves maintaining school databases, assisting with correspondence, newsletters, and notices, and managing front office duties, including greeting visitors and handling enrolment queries. You will assist the Manager of Corporate Services with tasks such as student data entry, attendance management, filing, asset control, stocktaking, student billing, and HR-related functions. Experience with DOE systems such as Compass, Integris, RM Billing, RM Finance, Asset Manager, and HRMIS is highly desirable.
The suitable applicants will ideally communicate effectively with staff, students, families, and visitors, while managing tasks, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing efficiently. Suitable applicants should ideally be confident in using Microsoft Office Suite and DOE software (experience highly regarded), and able to multitask and thrive in a busy, open-plan office environment. A friendly, professional demeanour is important for providing a welcoming front-office experience.

- Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
- Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
