The Role
As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations related to the management and maintenance of school grounds and amenities. This includes overseeing the acquisition, deployment, and recording of assets associated with school facilities, buildings, and amenities, ensuring proper maintenance procedures are followed. You will also conduct research and provide recommendations on acquiring assets to enhance the school environment, supporting the effective use of resources and infrastructure.
The successful applicant will coordinate the use of school grounds and amenities by the community, managing scheduling and ensuring all necessary documentation, including invoicing, is completed. Additionally, you will provide assistance to community users and organise Information Technology and Audio-Visual requirements as requested.
Supporting the Manager Corporate Services, you will assist in the development and implementation of asset management and maintenance strategies for school facilities and equipment. Your role will also involve preparing funding submissions, evaluating tenders, and coordinating contracts relating to school facilities, building and amenities. Furthermore, you will liaise with service providers, contractors, and stakeholders on matters related to facilities management, ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
