
We are seeking to establish a pool of Attendance Officer’s for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 1 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
Attendance Officers work collaboratively with Student Central staff to identify and monitor student absenteeism and attendance. They are the first point of contact for parents and students regarding attendance matters which will include responding to absence-related enquiries, entering attendance data accurately, reviewing and updating student records, providing support to students and parents regarding pastoral care and providing clerical support to assist with student engagement activities.
Previous computer experience, particularly with Student Information Systems (SIS), SEQTA or similar databases to maintain student records, would be highly desirable.
Suitable applicants will ideally need to be customer service focused with strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. They should reliable, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines in a busy environment. In addition, they will ideally possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment providing support to the administration team, support staff, teaching staff and school community.
