The Role
At Ellen Stirling PS, the Manager Corporate Services (MCS) works closely with the principal and is a valued member of the Executive Leadership Team. We are seeking a passionate, experienced and effective MCS who:
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with staff, students, parents and community
- thinks critically to problem solve and demonstrates agility
- works collaboratively as an effective team member to support the school’s business objectives
- values feedback and seeks opportunities to learn, grow and develop
- understands and models our values
Our MCS is responsible for managing the school’s financial, physical, and human resources. This may include:
- Finance, budgeting and procurement
- building and assets, including information and communication technology (ICT)
- recruitment, selection and induction
- promotions and public relations
- school and student administration.
Reporting directly to the principal, the MCS supervises all support staff (such as cleaners and school officers), manages staff performance and development, and works with the Executive Leadership Team to strategically manage and lead change. The MCS will be expected to work with individuals, teams, committees and external stakeholders to support and progress the school’s strategic priority areas, whilst ensuring administrative processes are compliant with relevant legislation and Department policy and guidelines.
