Butler College opened in January 2013 as an inclusive public school for secondary students in Perth's northern suburbs. The College values are at the heart of our culture: Knowledge, Integrity and Respect.
Since 2020, our Senior Secondary students have performed exceptionally well in ATAR courses, with our average median ATAR just below 80 and above comparable schools. In recent years, numerous students have won awards from the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA), including Subject Certificates of Excellence, Subject Exhibition, Certificates of Distinction and Certificates of Merit. Our ATAR pathway is complemented by our General and VET pathways. The Role
We are seeking a teacher committed to fostering a learning environment where everyone can belong, grow and succeed. By utilising the evidence-based strategies in our instructional framework your skills should have an identifiable impact on the students in your classes.
Applicants should be motivated, possessing the ability to teach secondary Health and Physical Education and will be knowledgeable of the Western Australian Curriculum. As a Health and Physical Education teacher you would deliver a differentiated curriculum which meets the needs of all students and have an expectation that all students can reach their potential. You should be a teacher who aspires for academic excellence and is committed to high quality teaching and learning.
You will ideally possess strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills which will be used to develop and promote the school’s values, ethos and priorities across the school community.
