Corrigin District High School (DHS) is situated in the Southern Wheatbelt and caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 10 (K-10). The Role
The successful applicant will ideally show the professional knowledge, practices and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant K-10 Physical Education and Year 7-10 Mathematics curriculum. As part of this role, you will engage and build productive working relationships with students and be involved collaboratively with your colleagues to improve student results.
The successful applicant should have the ability to work collaboratively to plan and implement effective teaching and learning plans. Applicants will ideally provide excellence in creating and maintaining supportive and safe learning environment and provide educational opportunities and activities which enable students to achieve their highest potential.
With effective interpersonal skills, the successful applicant will work closely with students, colleagues and the community to achieve the best educational outcomes for students. Ideally, successful applicants will challenge and confront complex and conventional practices to provide successful outcomes for students, and continually reflect on their own practices to enhance performance. The ability to adapt with and utilise technology within the Physical Education – Mathematics learning areas would be highly regarded.
