The Role
As School Officer you will be responsible for completing administrative duties under the instruction of the Manager of Corporate Services. You will be responsible for providing accurate advice and support to parents, students, staff and community members ideally using your sound communication skills. Within the parameters provided by the school administration team you will maintain school databases, records, and management information systems to ensure they are accurate and up to date whilst ensuring the confidentiality and security of sensitive material. The successful applicant will ideally be experienced in office duties in a busy school environment and have a confident phone manner and a friendly and positive attitude. A good working knowledge of student information systems such as SIS, SEQTA or Compass, as well as strong attention to detail, accurate data entry and the ability to work well within a team environment are highly regarded.
