Eglinton Beach Primary School (PS) opened its doors to the community of Eglinton at the commencement of 2025. Our vision is to create an inclusive school where every child can succeed. The school is located 48 kilometres North of Perth in the growing suburb of Eglinton, close to the ocean, surrounded by rapidly developing housing estates with many young families. The school has state-of-the-art facilities with a purpose-built Early Childhood Education centre, two double story teaching blocks a dedicated Education Support facility, library and undercover area. Specialist teaching areas for Music/Performing Arts, Visual Arts and Science, Technologies, Engineering and Mathematics are also included.

The Role
We are seeking a committed, resilient and highly motivated Associate Principal to join our School Leadership Team. We are working to establish strong relationships across the entire school community including staff, parents, students and outside agencies. The development of a successful and caring professional learning community is a prime focus for the school and for the Leadership Team.
The successful applicant should ideally promote and maintain high expectations and lead Teaching, Learning and Assessment across K-6, with a focus on Early Childhood Education. We prefer you be collaborative and team focussed, working with the leadership team, teaching and support staff to establish and deliver programs and policies that progress student achievement in line with ‘Every Student, Every Classroom, Every Day.’
The successful applicant will ideally bring knowledge and experience in leading and implementing contemporary curriculum and pedagogical practices to build teacher capacity, with experience in leading and supporting staff with the implementation of the Maths and Technologies Curriculum. They will ideally use data and research to inform decision making and use coaching to create and support effective teams.
Experience in effective change management, growing high performing teams and embedding a performance and development culture will be highly regarded. Classroom observation and feedback cycles are intended to be embedded in the role as a means of promoting and strengthening ‘best practice’ teaching in the school.
Experience in the development and use of quality data tracking tools, data collection and analysis, general Information Communications and Technologies, leadership, supporting students from diverse cultural backgrounds, and knowledge of Early Childhood Education and National Quality Standard, are all considered advantages.
