The Role
Spencer Park PS is a vibrant and inclusive School, located in Albany within the Great Southern Region and looking to appoint a new Public Relations and Administration Support Officer who is an energised and motivated person to join the front office team.
This role would best suit a creative mind with a focus on the schools’ public relations, marketing and social profile. The successful applicant would possess high level organisational skills with a keen eye to detail and the drive to represent the school to a high standard. The applicant should be open to flexibility and change and evolve in the role as required to accommodate our school events. The applicant must display excellent interpersonal skills, engaging positively with our students, families, staff and external stakeholders.
To be successful within the role, the applicant would ideally possess skills in desktop publishing, be familiar with current social media platform capabilities and have the ability to create engaging and innovative promotional material. Experience within Department of Education Administration Support role is desirable however training will be provided.
Within the role, the successful applicant will be working in a supportive, positive, collaborative and fast paced office environment, involving day to day administrative and financial tasks, student and customer service and establishing the new role and responsibilities of inhouse promotions.
This role is for 15 hours per week 0.4 FTE with the possibility to increase.
