Kalgoorlie-Boulder Community High School (CHS) was opened in 2006 and proudly offers secondary courses from Year 7 to 10. The school prides itself on an enrolment of over 900 students from a diverse range of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, who all contribute to a vibrant and collaborative school culture.

The school's committed student services team ensure excellent pastoral care and monitoring of students, with a dedicated student services coordinator and officer working closely with each year group. The Role

The successful applicant should assist in implementing processes by liaising with non-attending and disengaged students, families, and relevant support agencies and service providers to increase non-attending and disengaged students’ participation and engagement in educational programs.

Ideally, the successful applicant will liaise with non-attending and disengaged students, families, and relevant support agencies and service providers to provide individualised case management and coordinate support services for identified students.

The role will facilitate development of agreements and protocols with support agencies and employer agencies to assist students. Identifying, implementing, monitoring and evaluating school attendance and engagement strategies and procedures by using attendance data analysis to identify key issues and trends. The successful applicant will be assisting with running an engagement program for Students at Educational Risk for attendance due to multiple barriers.
