We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Assistant - Special Needs for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Alkimos Primary School opened in February 2016 and caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school continues to develop a highly engaging and dynamic learning environment, where building relationships between students and community is key. The school hosts a Specialised Learning Program (SLP) for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This program supports the individual needs of students with ASD from Kindergarten to Year 6 who are at risk of disengagement, underachieving and/or have significant difficulties with adaptive behaviours. It is an intervention pathway to mainstream schooling.
