The Role
Belmont CC is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher – Health & Physical Education to join their school. The successful applicant will be able to plan and deliver engaging Health & Physical Education lessons aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum, while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation. The successful applicants should possess the professional knowledge, understanding and experience to assess and report on student progress in accordance with school and curriculum guidelines.
The successful applicant will assist in interschool sports programs, including lighting carnivals and after-school sports fixtures, and work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and the wider school community to promote health and physical activity. The successful applicant will ideally be student and relationship focused, highly motivated, innovative, and able to work effectively in a team environment. They will ideally possess an engaging and energetic teaching style, promoting an environment of active and positive learning in their classroom.
