Frankland River Primary School is an Independent Public School catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Our school has a strong bond with the community. Our School Board works with staff to help set the strategic direction of the school and promote the school in the community. Our P&C Association works tirelessly to support the school through a range of fundraising ventures and many parents are actively involved in this group.
The town of Frankland River is a small community located approximately 350km south of Perth. We embrace our rural location with the town being located about 65km from Kojonup and Mt Barker and 115km north west of Albany. The school is a catchment for families from Rocky Gully, Bokerup, Gordon River and Kybellup.

The Role
Frankland River PS is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their team in the role of Gardener - Handyperson. As our schools Gardener - Handyperson you will have a passion for the outdoors and enjoy working to provide a suitable growing environment for soft and hard landscaping.
In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and presenting our school grounds in a clean and tidy condition. The Gardener - Handyperson will work to provide gardening, grounds and facility management to ensure a safe, vibrant and clean school environment. They will maintain and present the school grounds and gardens in an attractive, clean and tidy condition, and provide a suitable growing environment for both soft and hard landscaping, including turf management. The successful applicant will perform minor repairs and maintenance as requested, as well as other Gardener - Handyperson duties using safe work practices and in accordance with the Department's policies and guidelines.
