About the Role
The Manager Facilities Venues West is responsible for leadership and strategic asset management of services that underpin delivery of venue maintenance across multiple venues.
If you are motivated, engaging, and outcome focused you may be right for our Facilities Management Team.
We are seeking to appoint to the position of Manager Facilities who will be responsible for providing comprehensive engineering and maintenance services to all Venues West facilities.
We currently have one permanent, full time available. Whilst the position will be based at Perth HPC in Mount Claremont, and mobility will be required between the portfolio venues.

About the Person
This position is responsible for the management of high-quality engineering and maintenance service, which is effective, cost efficient, compliant with legislation and meets the needs of the business.
The successful candidate will:
- Lead, manage and coordinate a team of multi-disciplined trade and operational services staff in accordance with the relevant Human Resources frameworks, including recruitment, performance planning and development, to deliver a high quality of service with a strong client focus
- Maintenance and Operations of Building, Infrastructure, Plant and Equipment
- Prioritises the repair, preventative maintenance and replacement of physical assets
- Liaise with and provide both verbal and written reports to Executives and other managers to provide advice and feedback on assets, facilities management activities, maintenance contracts, compliance, and performance.
- Manage, maintain and operate the facilities critical infrastructure to ensure continual supply of but not limited to electricity, gas, chilled water, HVAC systems, fire systems, potable water and hot water systems.
- Manage all associated risks falling under the facilities management
- Prepares and manages the annual maintenance budget submissions

- Previous relevant experience and knowledge in high level asset management of large-scale complex facilities including:
- contract management, Cap Ex delivery and financial management;

- legislative obligations for facilities management including provision of on-demand reports to relevant high-level stakeholders such as; Executive, Board and Ministers.
