The Role
Shorehaven PS is seeking a passionate and aspirational leader to join our experienced administrative team. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with and learn from a highly skilled leadership group while making a meaningful impact on our growing school community.
The successful applicant will initially take on a combined role, with 0.4 FTE dedicated to administration and 0.6 FTE to teaching. Over time, there may be opportunities to increase the administrative component. A key focus of this position will be behaviour management, with a specific focus on student leadership. A strong understanding of whole-school positive behaviour models is essential, as is the ability to provide instructional leadership to specific year-level teams. The role will also involve overseeing the delivery of whole-school practices, analysing data, and fostering strong relationships with staff, students, and families.
We are looking for a leader with a deep understanding of contemporary classroom practices and the confidence to model and coach these approaches where necessary. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to contribute to the school’s business and strategic plans. The successful applicant will play an integral role in mentoring and supporting aspirant teachers, contributing to performance management processes, and ensuring a smooth transition for students throughout their schooling.
At Shorehaven PS, we are committed to fostering a collaborative culture that supports both students and staff. This role presents an exciting opportunity for career progression in a dynamic and supportive environment. While previous leadership experience is not essential, references to past leadership roles may strengthen an application.
If you are ready to take the next step in your leadership journey, we encourage you to apply.
