Shorehaven Primary School (PS) is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and aspirational Level 2 School Officer to join our outstanding front office team. We highly value this position as our office team is the first point of call for our community and visitors.
Shorehaven PS is located in the northern tip of Alkimos and will service surrounding estates. It opened in 2022 as an Independent Public-School Level 5 and our student numbers continue to grow towards 800.

The Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for key administrative duties including greeting visitors, answering the telephone and directing calls to appropriate staff, responding to enquiries and providing relaying relevant information. You should have strong interpersonal skills and a friendly disposition which will enable you to successfully interact with our families as well as become an integral member of our office team.
As you will be supporting our Manager Corporate Services (MCS), knowledge of and experience with the Student Information System, RM Billing and RM Finance programs would be beneficial. Other duties will include such things as communication, enrolments, attendance, payroll, invoice processing and credit cards. It is hoped that the successful applicant will quickly build the skills and knowledge to fill in for our MCS when required.

- Demonstrated experience in financial processes and procedures, including the handling of debtors, creditors, reconciliations, and /or preparing financial returns.
- Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
- Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
