This is a permanent part-time (0.25FTE) position commencing Term 2, 2025

The Role
In this role you will ideally have good attention to detail and will ideally be able to work well both individually and as part of a team to ensure a clean and safe school environment. You should be organised, honest, reliable, and punctual and have excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods, and practices.
The successful applicant should be highly motivated, proactive and take pride in being responsible for providing a high standard of cleanliness within the workplace to provide a visually pleasing and safe learning environment for our students, staff, and visitors to the school. You should also have a sound knowledge of the use of all cleaning equipment and an understanding of the safety requirements when using products.
As a Cleaner you would carry out internal cleaning duties, including the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, and other items of general cleaning. In addition to this, you would also carry out external cleaning duties, including the cleaning of verandas and covered areas, rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, removal of cobwebs, other general cleaning duties as required by the Cleaner-In-Charge.
