The Role
We seek a dynamic and innovative leader with outstanding interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to lead a strong, highly skilled, and diverse team. We invite both experienced and aspiring leaders to apply.
As a vital administrative team member, you will work closely with the Executive Team to provide educational leadership within the school and the broader community. Your primary focus will be on developing and promoting the school's vision, encouraging active participation from school staff, community volunteers, and other stakeholders within the Science learning area.
Your role involves implementing change management strategies to lead the school community in accepting and developing opportunities for improved service within your specified subject area. Your involvement in shaping the school plan through collaborative decision-making, policy development, and creating essential systems will play a key role in guiding the school’s future.
As a curriculum leader, you will be at the heart of a dynamic team, inspiring and guiding Science teachers to deliver high-quality educational outcomes. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring everyone stays updated with the latest curriculum developments, fostering a collaborative and informed environment. You will be instrumental in facilitating teaching and learning outcomes, employing effective performance management strategies, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement among the school's academic community.
Applicants with knowledge or experience in Year 11 and 12 Australian Tertiary Admission Ranking (ATAR) Science subjects, including Physics, Biology, and Human Biology, are highly desirable. We also encourage applicants with expertise in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education and a passion for inquiry-based learning to apply. Additionally, the Science Learning Area is working towards Vocational Education and Training (VET) pathways, so familiarity with VET processes would be highly regarded.
