
We are seeking to establish a pool of Gardener – Handyperson for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. and up to the end of Term 4, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Yanchep Rise Primary School opened for the start of the 2021 school year, and is located at 110 Moorpark Avenue catering for 430 students from Kindergarten to Year 6.
We have state-of-the-art facilities that feature a dedicated early childhood teaching block and three general classroom blocks, including a specialised art and craft room. Students and staff also enjoy a covered assembly area with a canteen and music room, as well as a library resource centre, staff room, conference room and administration building.

The Role
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Gardener – Handypersons to join our friendly team.
Suitable applicants would maintain and present the school grounds and gardens in a clean and tidy condition and provide a suitable growing environment for both soft and hard landscaping, including turf management. They would also maintain tools and horticultural equipment in a serviceable condition and perform minor repairs and maintenance in accordance with the Department’s policies and guidelines. They will ideally provide advice and support to the Manager Corporate Services on school grounds maintenance and maintain accurate gardening records.
