
We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Assistant - Mainstream's for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
At Doubleview Primary School (PS) our students from kindergarten to year 6 excel both academically and on the sporting fields. We have received recognition for our high level of academic performance since the commencement of National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) testing, and offer specialist programs in Music, Science & Technology, Languages (Japanese), and our Physical Education program that includes surf awareness lessons.

The Role
Education Assistant – Mainstream supports the teaching and learning of students through assisting teachers in delivering planned education programs and encouraging a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Duties include assisting with planned education programs, implementing individual or small group demonstrations under teacher direction, assisting with preparation, storage, and maintenance of equipment, materials and resources used in class, helping to supervise students during activities outside the classroom, assisting with general care and wellbeing of students, and providing administrative support.
