
We are seeking to establish a pool of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Resource Officer for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 2. 2026. The Role
Suitable applicants should have well-developed problem-solving skills, and the initiative needed to apply them to library, technological process and systems in a proactive fashion.
Suitable applicants should have knowledge of contemporary practices in library, technological processes and systems. Ideally you will have well-developed problem-solving skills, and the initiative needed to apply them to library, technological process and systems in a proactive fashion. You should model effective quality customer support services using your excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide support to our leadership team, staff and school community.
You would work in partnership with staff to create a welcoming vibrant library environment for students and families. A love of books and a sound understanding of ICT systems, library systems, Book Week, Book Fair, incursions/excursions and stocktakes would be highly desirable. In addition to these responsibilities, you would be responsible for preparing and monitoring the library budget, making recommendations for new resources and supervise staff and students.
Part of your role would be assisting the ICT team to provide support to staff and students on desktop, software applications and school wireless/network connectivity for different devices, and research and identify appropriate software packages and other resources required to meet specific needs. Experience in this area is desirable.
