Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
The Largest Education Support School in WA, Durham Road School (DRS) caters for approximately 250 students, from kindergarten through to Year 12.
We pride ourselves on being more than just a workplace or school – we’re a community, built on our six core values:
- Kids come first
- Every day is a new day
- Teachers who care
- High expectations + support = achievement
- Stronger together
- Above and beyond
Our class sizes are small, with specialist teachers and education assistants ready to guide all phases of schooling. We combine a rich social environment with a targeted, differentiated curriculum based on the WA Curriculum and Abilities-Based Learning Education Western Australia (ABLEWA), to meet the individual learning needs of each child. We use Individual Education Plan meetings to collaboratively establish learning goals tailored to individual students’ needs and parent priorities.
