Shorehaven Primary School (PS) is looking for an experienced, hard-working, collaborative Mainstream Education Assistant to join our Early Childhood team in 2025.
Shorehaven PS is an Independent Public School which opened in 2022 and caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school is situated 22 kilometres north of Joondalup in the suburb of Alkimos.

The Role
We are seeking a highly organised assistant with the capacity to manage and organise learning area spaces and contribute advice and expertise to support student achievement. Under teacher direction, you will assist in the delivery of planned education programs, including the operation of computers and digital technologies; implement individual or small group programs, and provide valuable feedback to support student learning. Experience in implementing explicit oral language and literacy programs would be highly regarded, as we will have a strong focus on oral language and literacy in our school.
The suitable applicant will assist with the preparation and organisation of engaging learning environments by maintaining equipment, materials and resources as well as assisting teachers with the safe use of classroom items. You will be responsible for assisting teachers with the supervision of students for all activities and the general care and wellbeing of students.
