The Role
The Vocational Education and Training (VET) Support Officer will coordinate the operations of the VET/Workplace Learning (WPL) program whilst assisting in developing and introducing systems and strategies which provide a responsive and effective support service in relation to the School’s VET/WPL Program.
The successful applicant will locate appropriate industry placements/activity providers for students and will conduct site checks and meetings with prospective employers whilst liaising with key stakeholders including School personnel, Registered Training Organisation’s (RTOs), industry and parents and students on attendance / behavioural issues. The successful applicant will maintain records through Reporting to Parents, prepare correspondence, documentation and record students’ progress and compile reports.
