We are seeking to establish a pool of Teacher - Primary for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Established in 1986, Ashburton Drive Primary School (PS) is located in the south eastern metropolitan suburb of Gosnells. The school is built on old farming land and is next door to an abundant wetlands. The current student enrolment is around 420 students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

The Role

We are actively seeking primary teachers with exceptional interpersonal skills, exhibit a natural ability to communicate effectively and foster genuine working relationships with parents, students, and colleagues. As a primary teacher you would promptly establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment, setting high expectations and cultivating a growth mindset, while nurturing students' social and emotional development.

Suitable applicants should possess a strong capacity to plan, present and assess challenging and engaging programs and have a solid understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum. Staff are also expected to collaboratively work towards whole school goals and targets. Teachers should ideally possess the professional knowledge, practices, and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant curriculum using a positive, student-focused approach and have success working with students across a range of ability levels, including multi-age/split year groups..
