The Role
Bayswater PS is seeking a professional, positive and friendly level 1 School Officer to become a member of the corporate services team. As a school officer, you will be the first point of contact for our students, families, staff and community, you should ideally possess good interpersonal skills and a strong focus on customer service, is key to this role.
The successful applicant will undertake general clerical and administrative tasks, maintain the school databases, prepare school correspondence such as, newsletters, communication notices and other materials. It is highly desirable to have experience with managing the school enrolments process, as the successful applicant will be the primary contact for new enrolments, providing information, collecting documentation, entering student enrolment data and maintaining student attendance records.
Proficiency in the use of Integris (SIS), RM Billing, Microsoft Office suite, TEAMS and experience in the Department of Education (DOE) software systems is highly regarded.
This role requires applicants who ideally possess strong organisational skills in delivering and prioritising tasks when under pressure. The ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines is highly desired. You should work well in a team environment, have well-developed communication skills, display attention to detail, show initiative and approach challenges with a growth mindset.
