This is a permanent, full-time position commencing Term 2, 2025

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining a positive school culture that promotes positive relationships between students, staff, parents and the wider community of Muludja Remote Community School in the educational work of the school.

The Principal is responsible for being innovative and creative in continuing to embed systems and structures to improve academic results and improvements in social and emotional development for students, as well as engaging a diverse school community in the educational programs of the school.

Muludja is part of the Kimberley schools project and actively focuses on embedding Targeted Teaching, Early Years, Community Engagement and Attendance as part of whole school planning and teaching and learning programs. Student attendance and engagement continues to be a regional and school focus. The school continues to support students at the end of year 6 into secondary pathways.

The Principal is required to be actively involved in the Fitzroy Valley Network schools and associated priorities with other valley schools as  well as sustaining a partnership  with community and other agencies, and services that support the community to benefit school programs.
