
Nollamara Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Nollamara PS is situated seven kilometres north of the Perth Central Business District in Western Australia. Nollamara PS is an independent public school and has had an Intensive English Centre (IEC) as a core part of the school since 2005. Nollamara PS caters for over 430 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Our student population is highly culturally diverse, with approximately 80% of all students at our school from an English as an additional language or dialect (EAL/D) background and with 54 different language and cultural groups represented. The Role
The suitable applicants will ideally be responsible for assisting in the planning and delivery of education programs, including managing small groups of students under the direction of the teacher to assist students to reach their full potential. This includes goal setting and individual planning to meet curriculum outcomes.
To be successful for this role you will ideally be organised and able to develop and implement individual interventions to meet student needs. The role requires someone ideally with extensive knowledge in trauma informed practices and also with high behaviour management skills. An understanding of functional behaviour analysis and use of reinforcers would be beneficial. The role entails working with students with high social and emotional needs in a variety of contexts, who can require a high level of support when dysregulated. To be successful in the role the applicant will ideally require the skills to engage students who require additional behaviour supports in a variety of settings with the necessary strategies.

- Demonstrated effective organisational skills that will assist in the delivery of effective education programs and subsequent feedback and evaluation to teachers or psychologists.
