
We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Lake Monger Primary School (PS) is an inner-city school, on the shores of Lake Monger, Wembley. It has a country school feel within a city setting. The school is fortunate in having a large site with extensive play and sports areas in addition to being located adjacent to the beautiful Lake Monger and parklands.

The Role
Suitable applicants will ideally display quality interpersonal skills with the ability to efficiently meet deadlines, work autonomously or with other support staff. The suitable applicants will excel in the provision of general clerical and administrative tasks, displaying attention to detail in the accurate maintenance of school databases and the preparation of correspondence, newsletters, notices and other materials. Experience generating hard and electronic forms of communication including Connect will be highly valued.
Suitable applicants will ideally undertake front office duties, assist with visitor queries including enrolments and as such, require a strong knowledge of enrolment policy and procedures with relation to Overseas students and visa subclass categories. They will ideally provide support to the Manager Corporate Services with general office and school-based administration including student data input and attendance reporting, filing and archiving, asset and resource control and stocktaking, student billing and receipting, facilities and HR support as needed therefore proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is highly regarded, and experience in the Department of Education (DOE) software systems and packages is highly desirable, including Compass, Integris, RM Billing, RM Finance, Asset Manager and HRMIS (Human Resource Management Information.)
This role requires suitable applicants to ideally have strong organisational skills in delivering and prioritising tasks when under pressure. As a team player, they will ideally possess good verbal and written communication and be able to liaise with staff, students, families and visitors. As the first point of contact for staff, students and visitors to our school, you will ideally be friendly, confident, articulate, organised, and approachable. Therefore, the ability to multitask and manage the pressure of working in a busy, open plan office is essential.
