The Role
What You Should Do:
- Maintain IT Network: Ensure the smooth operation of the school’s Information Communications Technology (ICT) network to maximise both educational and administrative outcomes within the Departmental asset management and security regulatory framework.
- Data Security: Implement and maintain data security strategies to protect the integrity of educational and administrative data.
- Technical Support: Liaise with Department of Education ICT Support to resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Advisory Role: Provide technical advice to administration staff on network system issues and contribute to system enhancements.
- Training and Support: Offer technical support and training to all users throughout the school, including desktop and software applications, and access to systems and resources.

- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in managing IT networks and understanding the Learning with ICT framework.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
