For our artistic minded students, we offer opportunities to take part in semester showcases, art exhibitions, and as part of whole school productions. For the athletic, we have Academies in Rugby, Soccer, with a range of other sports including Netball available to play at interschool level. And for pure academics, Joseph Banks SC has been a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) TDS school since the programs launch in 2016. We maintain partnerships with CoRE Learning Foundation and the international P-Tech program and our own Space Academy program went live in 2024.
The focus of our work at Joseph Banks SC is quality teaching and provision of the widest range of opportunities for those who attend our College. Toward this end, we are developing the school as a centre for best practice in teacher development and student achievement.
