Carine Senior High School (SHS) is seeking to establish a pool of English Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
We currently have the following positions available, commencing Term 2, 2025:

The Role
About the Role: Suitable applicants will ideally be able to
- Deliver engaging and effective English lessons across a range of ability levels, including Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) courses.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that fosters a love for literature, language, and critical thinking.
- Work collaboratively to develop and refine our English curriculum.
- Engage in reflective practices to ensure continuous improvement in teaching and learning, with a focus on High Impact Teaching Strategies (HITS).

- hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.

- apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
- consent to and obtain a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
