Yulga Jinna is a small Aboriginal community in the Murchison Mid-West Region. Yulga Jinna, which means Flat Foot, is located 135kms northwest of Meekatharra. All students in the school are Aboriginal, with Aboriginal English being their first language.
Yulga Jinna was one of the first communities to have a School Community Partnership created in 2004 that clearly states the roles and responsibilities between the community and the school. The Yulga Jinna Community is very proud of their school and are proactive in all aspects of school operations.

The Role
The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work in collaboration with our administrative team. Applicants who are prepared to develop a thorough working knowledge of Department of Education databases, records management systems and financial knowledge to support the Manager of Corporate Services will be highly desirable. The successful applicant should have the skills and ability to support the administration and management of financial and human resources utilising RM Billing, EFTPOS, RM Finance and HRMIS.
The successful applicant will need to be a resident of Yulga Jinna Community. Yulga Jinna Community is a closed family community with no additional housing available for an applicant who is not a community member. A sound understanding of the cultural context of Yulga Jinna Community and the importance of a positive relationship between the school and community is highly desirable.

- Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
- Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
