The Role
The successful applicant should support to maintain, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) resources and networks to maximise educational and administrative outcomes effectively and efficiently, whilst ensuring integrity of data is maintained through adequate security strategies. The successful applicant should provide ongoing technical support to staff and identify issues and implement software and system enhancements.
The successful applicant will ideally display organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise work and autonomously assume daily responsibilities in a small team.
The successful applicant will ideally have a strong background in ICT with both Mac and PC platforms being an essential part of this role. The successful applicant should be able to work proactively and have the knowledge to identify and resolve software, hardware, and network related issues, plus the ability to plan & implement data security procedures as well as providing solutions which will ensure suitable outcomes. The ability to liaise confidently with numerous personnel within education and private enterprise is important in this role. A background with ICT in schools and the education arena is essential.
