The Role
As Manager Corporate Services, the successful applicant will ideally manage and coordinate corporate administrative operations and front-line services aligned with the school’s strategic objectives and customer service principles and practices, which are the necessary corporate administrative elements that enable our teachers to focus their efforts on helping our students thrive. This role manages the school’s financial resources, including implementing budgets, needs forecasting cash flow projections and investments, ensuring procedures and processes comply with Government legislations, policy and applicable accounting standards. Reporting directly to the principal, the Manager Corporate Services provides overviews and reports on financial and project management details.
As Manager Corporate Services, the successful applicant will ideally contribute to financial decisions and school improvement plans for targeted initiatives. Additionally, you will provide leadership and act as a liaison within the school and community. As Manager Corporate Services you will ideally have highly developed organisational skills and financial management knowledge to meet Department of Education financial requirements and to manage the diversity of the role. As the successful applicant, it is a requirement of the role to display effective interpersonal skills to manage staff and maintain positive working relationships within the school and broader community. Your experience in management of Capital Works programs will be an asset for future building programs that will require your liaison and direction with a range of Department of Education and private entities.
This position requires a flexible team player with sound communication skills and a thorough understanding and operational knowledge of the relevant systems and policies required to maintain, monitor, analyse and extract information using RM Finance, RM Billing, RM Asset Manager, Compass, Flexipurchase and Recruitment Advertising Management System (RAMS). Relevant experience in End of Month, End of Calendar Year and Financial Year reporting is required, as is a thorough understanding of Procurement in the Government and Schools systems. The commencement date will ideally be before end of term 1, however will be negotiated between relevant personnel.
