The Role
We are seeking a motivated, friendly School Officer to join our team of dedicated staff. As the successful applicant you will be the first point of contact for our school welcoming all visitors, attending to phone calls, and supporting inquiries from parents, staff and the wider community. Additionally, you will ideally have a positive, caring and can-do attitude and possess the qualities to promote excellence for our school.
You will be responsible for student records management including absentees, enrolments, and reporting as well as creation of the school’s public relations communications, minute taking, leadership team administrative support, coordinating staff travel arrangements, building faults management, maintenance of general office stock, financial receipting and expenditure processing. The successful applicant should possess strong attention to detail and work well within a team environment. You will ideally have strong organisational skills and be able to deliver outcomes while working to deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Experience using school database systems including Compass, Integris, Reporting to Parents, RM Billing and RM Finance are highly desirable. Applicants who may not have experience using school specific databases and demonstrate the capacity to quickly upskill in the proficient use of new information management systems are strongly encouraged to apply as training and support will be provided for the suitable applicant.

- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
