The Role
Clifton Hills PS is seeking to employ a motivated, pro-active Network Support Officer.
The role of the Network Support Officer is to provide the effective maintenance of IT infrastructure, resources and networks in the school to maximise both educational and administrative outcomes. The Network Support Officer will work within the Departments Standard Operating Environment (SOE) framework and ensure the integrity of educational and administrative data through the implementation and maintenance of data security strategies.
The successful applicant will provide advice to school administration on new and changing ICT resources and be responsible for the coordination, installation and maintenance of these within the school environment. You will provide advice on technical issues associated with the network and deliver technical support to all users throughout the school.
Clifton Hills PS is looking for an individual who is ideally self-motivated and innovative, with strong organisational skills in delivering and prioritising tasks when under pressure. You will ideally possess good verbal and written communication skills to be able to liaise effectively with other ICT staff, school administration and be able to develop and maintain documentation relevant to the outcomes required.
It is desirable that the successful applicant have experience in Social Semantic Server (SSS) dashboard, Digital asset management (DAM), troubleshooting network problems, software deployment, understanding wireless technologies, maintaining accurate records of resources, liaison with other organisational ICT support personnel, managing data security and working within Apple Manager and Apple configurator.
Support staff at Clifton Hills PS make an important contribution to student progress and achievement through the support of school management, teaching practice and the maintenance of positive relationships with students, parents and the community. Additionally, support staff contribute to outcomes that align with the school vision, business plan and other operational targets by providing assistance to the teaching staff, student services, pastoral care team and school administration.
